Medior Azure Cloud IT Administrator, Finance, Amsterdam
My client, a financial institution located in Amsterdam, is looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Administrator to join them on a permanent basis. The role will be set up hybrid 3:2 (office/wfh). Generally the office language is English. Language skills in Dutch are a strong asset nonetheless.

- As a medior Azure Cloud IT administrator, you are responsible for ensuring that my client migrates his its software to a well-configured, up-to-date cloud and that it can continue to build on its self-built software with all the benefits of Azure in the future.
- You are part of the management team, but you mainly interact with our 50 developers and testers in Amsterdam and Bangkok to enable them to make the best possible use of Azure for their development and testing work and hosting the applications in the cloud. You also support the management team in other projects and management tasks.
- My client uses various external (cloud) service providers for IT infrastructure, management and support. You keep in touch with these parties, help the Risk department to carry out risk analyzes and, together with colleagues, ensure that these parties provide controlled and reliable services.
Responsbilities:
- Analyzing, setting up and optimizing infrastructure designs in the field of Azure and DevOps (CI/CD)
- Thinking about Cloud (Azure) strategy in consultation with developers
- Drafting specifications and technical designs
- Oversee implementations of cloud-based processes and systems
- Mentoring junior colleagues
